I hit another milestone today. According to WordPress Stats, as of today I’ve had as many pageviews in 2010 as I did in all of 2009 (beginning in May when I started). So I essentially doubled my traffic in less than half the time. If the trend continues, I should have 100 pageviews by my blog’s anniversary. Woohoo!
In the 10 months my blog has been active, I’ve gotten some great comments, met some very interesting people, and have been “published” by the Chicago Sun Times not once, not twice, but three times! I never expected my ramblings to be so well received, nor did I expect such supportive fishing and blogging communities.
I hope my posts have been informative, and at least somewhat entertaining. I’m expecting to have lots of pictures of big fish in the coming months and will give you as much information as I can so that you can duplicate my effort. I also have some interesting posts planned between catches that I hope you find interesting.
As always, I would love to hear from you, so contact me if you have something to say (good or bad), or leave a comment on one of my posts. Don’t forget you can subscribe to get notifications of new posts by email and also become a fan on Facebook. Please do become a fan because my eternal happiness is solely dependent on how many people like me. Well, that and how many big fish I catch. I’ve been so very sad lately.
[Update: Just for my own record keeping, Google Analytics reported the same number of visits as 2009 on March 26 and the same number of pageviews on March 27, still within the 3 month timeframe.]
