When I started my blog a little over 3 years ago, I did it to write about my fishing adventures. What I didn’t expect was the sense of community within the blogosphere and the support I’ve gotten from my fellow anglers, whether they blog themselves or not.
In that spirit, I wanted to start a series of posts so that I could keep learning from my cohorts, but also so that beginning anglers can learn from all of us.
On a periodic basis, I will issue a challenge. The challenge will have a set of rules or restrictions to get frequent anglers to really think about their preferences, techniques, and methods.
The challenges are open to anglers of all ages and experience levels. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been fishing for 2 months or 2 decades. And you don’t have to be a bass fisherman like me. If you’re an angler, feel free to answer to your specific method and type of fishing.
Here are some rules guidelines to the challenges:
- Answer the challenge in one of two ways:
- Add your answer to the comments section of the challenge post, or
- Publish your answer as a post on your own blog if you have one
- If you post the answer on your own blog…
- Please put a link back to the original challenge in your blog post
- Please also put a link to these guidelines in your blog post
- Add a comment to the original challenge post to link to your reply on your blog
- You may be able to “cheat” if I don’t cover all the angles, but please answer within the spirit of the challenge
- None of the challenges will close, so feel free to answer any challenge posted at any time
The first challenge will come in the next few days. Stay tuned!
Congratulations
