The day is almost upon us. Minnesota Bass Opener is this weekend and I can’t wait. I had plans to go up to my father-in-law’s place on the Gunflint Trail, but my wife is planning a ginormous garage sale next week and I have to help get the garage ready. I was disappointed at first, but decided to make the most of it and go fishing around the local lakes. But then Mother Nature decided to throw me a curve ball.
