A Break from Fishing

Posted by MNAngler On November - 8 - 2010

So this has been my life since my last post:

Friday – work, met with a pair #1 of Lego League team
Saturday – work on clean up of yard and garage for winter, met with pair #2 of Lego League team
Sunday – more work on garage clean up, met with entire Lego League team
Monday – work, met with a pair #2 of Lego League team

And this is the rest of my week:

Tuesday – work, meet with entire Lego League team
Wednesday – work, meet with pair #2 of Lego League team
Thursday – work, attend elementary school concert honoring veterans on Veteran’s Day
Friday – work, meet with entire Lego League team
Saturday – meet with pair #3 of Lego League team
Sunday – meet with entire Lego League team

As you can see, my life is consumed with something other than fishing at the moment. But I’m enjoying every minute of it. My all-girls team is working very hard and should do very well at their competition on November 20.

Between coaching and fall cleaning, I lost probably the last nice weekend of the year. If I wait until after the competition to try to wet a line, I may not be able to fish again until ice in. I might have to put some gear into my car and hit mdtolic‘s lake during a lunch hour this week.

  1. I think what you’re doing is great! Good luck to the girls! You never know, you might get a surprise of warmer weather to head out fishing.

  2. […] This post was mentioned on Twitter by thehunterswife and Kari Murray, MNAngler. MNAngler said: If I had a dollar for everytime I went fishing in November, I'd… be looking for a job: http://bit.ly/a4cO1k […]

  3. Sounds like something worthwhile to be consumed with to me. I’m sure the fish will be waiting for you.
