Good Week of Fishing

I just got back from 9 days at Ken’s cabin. Here was the haul for the week: Fish I caught: Smallmouth bass: 12″, 8″, 10″, 8″, 14″, 15″ Northern Pike: 21″, 19″, 23″, 19″, 21″, 18″, 27″ (!) Species: Northern Pike Size: ~17″ Lure used: white pearl super fluke w/ red hook Date: 7/4/2009 Time: 8-9:30pm Body of water: Poplar Lake Location: Gunflint Trail Weather Conditions: clear Having been disappointed the night before, I wanted to go after the one that got away. Date: 7/3/2009 Time: 5-6:00pm Body of water: Poplar Lake Location: Gunflint Trail Weather Conditions: clear Water temp: 65 degrees Ken and I spent the good part of the day installing his new fish finder on his pontoon. Once it was installed and the pontoon was on the water, of course we had to try it out. We went out to Walleye Alley because we were planning to fish there after dinner.
