The day is almost upon us. Minnesota Bass Opener is this weekend and I can’t wait. I had plans to go up to my father-in-law’s place on the Gunflint Trail, but my wife is planning a ginormous garage sale next week and I have to help get the garage ready.
I was disappointed at first, but decided to make the most of it and go fishing around the local lakes. But then Mother Nature decided to throw me a curve ball. As of yesterday, it was supposed to be nice this weekend, but in the last 24 hours, that changed to rain. All three days! Talk about a crappy bit of luck.
I’m hoping the forecast changes back by the weekend. I can’t not go fishing this weekend. I may just have to don some rain gear and make the most of it.
